This coming weekend our family will be visiting Orange County (OC)and Los Angeles (LA) area, famous for it's big ticket theme parks where fun is all you can think of. However on this weekend trip we are planing a low-key more relaxed setting, so when I began to fret about what to do, where to go and so on.
I then decided to post on my Facebook page a request for help and suggestions, to my surprise all I got was theme park information. Not exactly what I had in mind. That is when I took it upon myself to search the internet and surf the fantastic and amazing web -they certainly don't call it the web for nothing- 3 hours later I had so many places to see I didn't want to go to bed. Midnight came and I decided it was time to shut down the computer.
Among the long list of findings I was able to choose a few that I liked. Here is a list of the places I would visit with my family:
KIDSPACE MUSEUM

Kidspace features both fun and educational programs that allow interaction from visitors. Throughout the year they combine exhibit themes with learning initiatives. Bowers' Kidseum

The Kidseum at Bowers' is a Museum within a Museum, it is an extension of the main Bowers Museum was founded in 1994 it is both an interactive museum and learning center, offers multi-faceted art and cultural experiences for young children. Children's Museum at La Habra

Seasons change and so do the exhibits at this museum, for Spring they want you to learn about water! in addition there are permanent exhibits such as nature walk, nannies travels, train village, carousel room, buster the bus, caboose and a science room. With so much to do there isn't a dull moment!
