Smithsonian Museum Day September 24th

On September 24th Smithsonian Magazine will provide FREE admission to participating Museums across the Country. To get the FREE admission you simply have to click here and enter the required information then you will receive an e-mail with your ticket to be printed out.

California Surf Museum - Oceanside

Creation and Earth History Museum - Santee

Lux Art Institute - Encinitas

Marston House Museum - San Diego

Mingei International Museum - San Diego

Museum of Making Music - Carlsbad

Museum of Photographic Arts - San Diego

Reuben H. Fleet Science Center - San Diego

San Diego Archaeological Center - Escondido

San Diego Botanic Garden - Encinitas

San Diego Chinese Historical Museum - San Diego

San Dieguito Heritage Museum - San Diego

The Adobe Chapel Museum - San Diego

The Whaley House Museum - San Diego


Here are the rules to use your one day ticket:

• Only an official Museum Day ticket is eligible for free entry. Official tickets can be found on the Museum Day website.
• One ticket per household, for two people.
• A ticket will gain entry to only one of the participating museums, excluding parking and special events and exhibits.
• If museum reaches capacity, museum has right to limit the number of guests until space becomes available.
