The perfect Mom bag...

Has this ever happened to you? you are out and about and you are "ready" to pay for something at a store or walking towards your parked. You reach into your "bag" for your keys, wallet or maybe your lip gloss and what comes out isn't even close to what you were looking for! You are not alone, it happens to all moms.

When I was pregnant with our 23 month old son, I searched and searched for the perfect diaper bag. All diaper bags are great, but each mom has a different color or shape or style preference. However we all need the same essentials to be able to fit and be ready to go at any given moment.

What are my essentials? diapers, wipes, hand sanitizer, sunblock, sippy cup, snacks, toys, crayons, book,  lip gloss, wallet, lip balm, hand moisturizer, keys and smart phone.

I choose a Skip Hop 'Dash' messenger bag in Charcoal. It was an excellent choice, it has the long strap to be placed on either shoulder. It also has the optional straps to be attached to the stroller! it was perfect! we would strap it onto our stroller and have our shoulders free! We still have this diaper bag and use it on our adventures.

As you can see in my Skip Hop 'Dash' I carry a full array on what I consider essentials with a toddler.


When I'm doing errands I usually forgo the diaper bag and pack my shoulder bag, this one was a gift and it is the perfect size to have my hands free and look stylish at the same time. It's my Tous crossbody.

 There are also days when I want use what my husband calls  my "Mary Poppins Bag". It is a nice Kate Spade Handbag 'Stevie' Classic Noel  it was a Christmas gift my husband surprised me with -also a couple of years ago- I love how spacious it is.
