Steamed Tilapia

INGREDIENTS:

4 Tilapia Fillets
1 Large Tomato
1 Medium - Large White Onion
1 Cup fresh chopped cilantro
Crushed Black Pepper
Garlic Powder
Soy sauce
Aluminium Foil (cut into 8x8 inches squares)

PREPARATION:

1.- Chop all vegetables, separate into 4 equal groups and set aside, use a large enough pot to fit a metal steamer basket (the one on the link is the one I use).

2.- Sprinkle garlic powder and pepper on each fillet, then place each fillet on it's own foil square (place in the center), add the vegetables, drizzle soy sauce to desired taste and wrap in foil as to making a pouch.

3.- Add enough water to touch the metal steamer basket and place each pouch onto that basket. Cook at medium heat for 20 minutes.

You can serve the steamed tilapia with steamed white rice and a fresh garden salad. If desired also add some Anaheim Peppers while steaming.
