Lombard St. {San Francisco}

A couple of weeks ago our family took a little outing, we drove to San Francisco and spent the day there. We visited the Golden Gate Bridge and also drove down Lombard St.

Lombard St. is considered the most crooked street in the world. Why? well lets just say it has about 8 tight turns and is very steep. It begins at Presidio Blvd. It is a one way street so you can only go down.

First you go up a very high hill, if it's a weekend there is a bit of a line of cars. However you are in line for about 10 minutes at the most. Then at the corner of Presidio Blvd and Lombard you will see crowds of people photographing this famous street.

It is a famous street because it has been featured or mentioned in several movies and tv shows. If you ever saw "The Real World: San Francisco" you know that they lived on 949 Lombard St. {yes, I did watch and no I am not that old}

When visiting San Francisco it is one of the attractions that are a must see so make sure you take the time to drive or walk through it. Here are some pictures I took while we were driving through it.
