It's the third Sunday of the month and you know what that means: Family Sunday at Mingei! This fun family oriented event allows guests to explore the Museum's colorful exhibits of folk art, craft and design in addition there is a treasure hunt and this month you can paint murals with Lucera Gallegos!!!
DATE: Sunday May 20th
TIME: 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
COST: $5.00/family or $3.00/individual

SAN DIEGO ZOO SAFARI PARK 40TH
Escondido, CA
The San Diego Zoo's Safari Park is celebrating 40 years since it first opened its doors! There will be many activities to participate in, but the one that we think is the best is the Endangered Species Scavenger Hunt using your smart phone to scan the QR codes and maybe even win some prizes!

We have never been to the New Children's museum- not even sure I realized it existed.
ReplyDeleteIt is a very fun Museum, every single exhibit is interactive and it is mostly showing how to re-use or up cycle stuff. We were there when they opened and then again a couple of months ago. They have FREE second Sundays sponsored by Target! Their motto is "Think, play, create" :)
