Let's Dot Art!

We recently found dot-markers at our local craft store and have been using them a lot!

Our toddler son is enjoying them so much he asks to "paint" every single day. They use them on plain white paper, card stock and also on coloring book pages that we tear out of them {these I found for a $1 at the dollar bin} they are fun to him because he feels he is coloring just like his big sister.

There is really no set rules as to using dot-markers the only two things I highly suggest is: using them only at a table and to use an extra card stock under the one you are painting on to prevent the marker to bleed through the paper to the table. They don't normally bleed through, but if your toddler is like mine pressing too hard on the marker then it will bleed through.

This is another great and fun activity that also helps tune their fine motor skills, we've noticed that now he will add other colors to the paper and try to stay within the lines.

How do you incorporate art and creativity into your children's life?
