Monsters University {review}

It's out! Playing at a theater near you!

This past weekend my family and I went to the movie theater to see Monsters University, it was all that we expected and a little more. We've waited 12 years for another look at Sully and Mike.

Monsters University takes us back to Mike Wazowski's childhood when he first learned about Monsters Inc. and we follow him through College when he meets Sully. Our favorite character as always is Mike! I mean what's not to love about him? He's funny, has one eye and is very smart. The movie has many life lessons and teaches about team work, respecting others and friendship. We had moments where we were laughing out loud. One thing we all missed on Monsters University was "Boo" she was so cute and at the end of Monsters Inc. we never found out if Sully got to reunite with her, which can only lead us to hope that there is indeed a sequel to Monsters Inc. -hint, hint Disney Pixar!-  ;)

We enjoyed this movie entirely in Spanish! It is amazing the attention to detail that Disney Pixar Studios puts to each movie, even when dubbed into a different language than English. Congratulations Disney Pixar you did great on the attention to detail. We did miss Billy Crystal's and John Goodman's voice, but we did like the ones chosen for the Spanish version. ;)

According to my 7 year old: "this movie was funny! I love seeing the cute Mike Wasowski as a little monster, he was so cute with his braces"

According to my 3 year old: "I like the green one mama! so silly!"

I guess that says it all! Get your family to a theater near you and enjoy a great family movie. You'll laugh and have lots of fun.
