This week Julian will be host to it's annual Star Festival. It's a great opportunity for star gazing fans! On Saturday August 27th there is a FREE Public Star Party for which you need arrive between 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. The StarFest will be located at:

There will be many telescopes set up at a viewing area and you may ask questions to experts there. It is important to bring a red light flashligt or a regular flashlight with red film placed to cover the white light. This will help you guide yourself to the observing area.
