The Secret World of Arrietty Review

This past weekend we had the opportunity to view "The Secret World of Arriety" which opens this coming Friday February 17th on theaters nationwide. This movie is based on the children's book series written by Mary Norton "The Borrowers".

The story follows Arrietty (voice of Bridgit Mendler) a small and determined 14 year old and her parents are "borrowers" who live underneath the floor of a house and borrow only what they need from the humans that live there.  They are to be unseen by humans, until one day the owners Shawn (voice by David Henrie) moves in to the house and discovers Arrietty. 

Both my 6 year old daughter and I were fascinated by the story. It is a very sweet movie that teaches us about friendship. Here is the movie trailer for you to enjoy!
