I love ice skating, I love watching it on TV and love doing it myself. I also love watching my 5 year old ice skate. We skate at the Ray & Joan Kroc Community Center in San Diego -East San Diego to be exact-.

Public sessions vary depending on the day of the week:

Sundays         1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Mondays       3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Wednesdays 10:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
                      3:30 p.m.- 5:30 p.m.

                      7:15 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.
Fridays         10:30 a.m.- 12:45 p.m.
                      3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Saturdays     1:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m.

Insider's tip:

#1 It is better to bring cash. Smaller bills also.
#2 There is a snack bar, they also have vending machines.'
#3 Lockers are $0.50 and allow you to have your hands free to keep your balance.
#4 Wear gloves and long socks.
