Spring Break {part III}

It's almost spring in sunny San Diego, with that mind have you noticed that all the stores are decorated in pastel colors and with chicks, ducklings and rabbits? -they are oh so cute!

Kids love to visit farms and in San Diego it is not that often we visit one, that is why we'd like to share with you all about Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center.

Bates Nut Farm is open everyday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. It is family owned and operated. They have ducks, chickens, geese, goats, sheep, llamas, alpacas, peacock, pot belly pigs, emu and miniature donkeys. It is a great place to enjoy a picnic with the family, they have open areas where children can run, play, kick a ball, fly a kite or just relax. They also sell a great variety of nuts.

They also have specific activities on weekends:

Friday March 16th - 18th
Del Sur Kennel Club Dog Show
10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Saturday March 31st
Easter egg hunt from
10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
