This is me...

I am a 34 year old stay at home mom who has a passion for adventure. I was born in the United States and raised between Baja Mexico and the United States. I am of Cuban-Mexican heritage and proud of it. Raised fully bilingual and tri-cultural. In our home we needed to know the history of Mexico, Cuba and the United States. Celebrating all major holidays was always fun.

My childhood memories are filled of fun, laughter, weekend trips and visiting Museums. My parents raised us to appreciate other cultures and traditions as well as our own.

I am married to the love of my life and in 2005 I left corporate America to be a full time stay at home mom to our daughter, then in 2009 our son made his debut and our family feels complete.

Both our kids are very active and inquisitive they love exploring their world and learning how things are made and why the wheels turn. They are also very analytical which is why we love taking adventures, to learn more. We have a passion for visiting Museums, zoos, aquariums, going to theme parks, taking weekend trips near and far {is 600 miles far?} and are raising our kids fully bilingual {reading, writing and speaking} English/Spanish.

I love cooking meals from scratch and mostly prepare the recipes that were passed on to me by my mother, grandmothers and aunts. Family is our priority and making new memories is what we do.

I am on this great adventure to get healthier and lose weight. Soon we will be moving our family to Costa Rica to begin a new chapter in our life, we are excited and happy about this change and of course we will be sharing about life there.

I am fascinated by the internet since it's boom in the 90s and social media. Which is why you may find me on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest where I share what I like and connect even more with you. :D

Thank you for stopping by my blog and reading our adventures. I hope you visit us again. And if you'd like to e-mail me you may do so at:

I love reading emails, comments and tweets.

Have a great day and make the best of it. :)

I love exploring museums, around town, as much as I can. Truly a lot of fun. And of course thanks for sharing your adventures with all of us!

    1. Aw! you made me blush... Thank you! Museums are so much fun and they can be made kid-friendly you just have to sometimes think outside the box to spark that interest in kids. It also teaches them so much! I am happy to continue to share our adventures. Because that's what life is all about! each day a new adventure.

    1. That is what we are hoping for ;) Our families did the same for us growing up. We strongly believe that all the adventures we enjoyed growing up with our families helped us to be who we are today and are aiming for the same results.
