Bates Nut Farm Pumpkin Patch {San Diego}

It's that time of the year again... Yes even though it feels like Summer it is Fall and Pumpkin Patches are popping up everywhere in San Diego. One of our favorite ones is Bates Nut Farm.

This family owned and operated Pumpkin Patch opens its doors for the 2012 season tomorrow Saturday September 29th.

Are you getting excited for fall? for halloween? for pumpkins?

Well maybe these pictures will help set the mood:

Take your family for some fun at Bates Nut Farm and pick up your pumpkin while you are there. They have a straw maze and in it there are 8 hidden mailboxes to find. Their tractor is ready to take you on a ride around their fields of corn and big mac pumpkins.

On Saturday September 29th and Sunday September 30th they will also have a tractor parade from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. This will certainly be lots of fun!

Their Pumpkin Patch season runs from September 29th through October 31. Make sure you visit to have lots of farm fun! and as always admission and parking are FREE!

Bates Nut Farm is also a great place to stock up on homemade fudge, nuts, dried fruit, bulk tea and other natural and delicious snacks! If you are not near them they also have an online shop

 They also offer educational tours!

Bates Nut Farm is located at 15954 Woods Valley Rd. in Valley Center Ca. for up to date information and to plan your visit make sure you follow them on their Facebook page.
