An adventure in the Spade

I've shared on several occasions my love for all things Kate Spade, you've seen inside my purse  and my suggestions as the perfect "mom" bag. The clean modern style she has in addition to bright and bold colors that I love. To me it's classic! From handbags to jewelry to technology accessories to apparel and don't forget she also has reading glasses and home decor.

Over the summer Kate Spade opened a new location in San Jose, within Santana Row to be exact and luckily I was there to help celebrate. It was so much fun to have a few hours of shopping to myself and get to see, touch and try each and every handbag or item in the store. 

Here are the designs that caught my attention the most:

As a fan I follow Kate Spade on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. I am always fascinated by all the celebrations they have in their office, enjoying not only delicious but also beautiful desserts. On this occasion I felt part of their team as they were offering guests mini cupcakes {I only had 1 :) } but it was delicious. Isn't the embossed napkin a beautiful touch?

While shopping at Kate Spade, I was assisted by Carmen. She is absolutely fabulous figuring out what handbag best suits you according to your lifestyle. In my case as busy mom on the go mom she suggested the Cobble Hill small Leslie handbag which is leather. It is large enough to fit an iPad plus my wallet and makeup bag and cars for Adventure Boy to play with along with other essentials. I love that I have the option of using it as a cross-body since it has an adjustable shoulder strap or I may use the bag's handles and have it in my forearm. The inside liner has black/white stripes and in true Kate Spade fashion there is a small golden spade.
