It's Official! {announcement}

Our biggest adventure to date! One that will help us to continue to grow and learn.

I was born in Los Angeles, then moved to Ensenada Baja Mexico. Met Adventure Dad, got married and moved to San Diego. Lived there for 12 years and last Spring we moved to San Jose in Northern California... and this Spring...

The Stroller Adventures family will be moving to a different country, if you follow me on Twitter you probably already know about our move.

Can you guess where we are moving to?

Yes it is in Central America, it is a Country rich in culture and history. Have you guessed? Here is one more hint, this Country does not have armed forces.

If you guessed Costa Rica you are right!

It's official and we are excited, nervous and anxious. We can't wait to see what our new home will be like. We've read so much about Costa Rica that it is making us daydream of living there.

A few facts about Costa Rica:

Approximately 25% of the country is in protected national parks and areas.

They have 5% of the world's biodiversity.

Does not have deforestation since 2005!

The have second largest ecosystem of the globe {second to Africa}

Over 700 different bird species have been identified in Costa Rica.

It also has about 3,000 different species of butterflies -including moths!

95% of the population is literate.

Their education system is ranked highest in Latin America.

I plan on sharing our adventures there, after all a move to a different country is always full of fun adventures to be shared. We are already beginning our relocation process and as we move forward I hope to keep you updated.
