Full Moon Pier Walk
Birch Aquarium

This walk is set on the Ellen Browning Scripps Memorial Pier -which is closed to the public, except during this event-. During the walk on the 1,090 foot concrete pier aquarium naturalists will be teaching about the history of the structure, make marine organisms glow in the dark, collect plankton, observe ocean conditions, guide them as they dissect a squid and study the nocturnal habits of marine life.

Ages: 9+
Cost: $25.00 per person -Please note that tickets are sold on the day of the event until 4:00 p.m. ONLY-

Tomorrow Tuesday June 21st is the first day of summer! why not go to the beach or for a nice bike ride along Seaport Village and then stop for a picnic at the Spanish Landing Park in Harbor Island? The views are simply breathtaking! and your kids will appreciate nature and some one on one time with you.

On a Nature Discovery Tour you will get a behind the scenes look at what happens in the nature center, it happens every Wednesday and on Weekends and the tour guide will also answer any questions you have regarding the plants and animals on exhibit. You can also let them know what you are interested in and they can also highlight that information.
