This week the San Diego Civic Theatre along with Broadway San Diego will be host to Mary Poppins. Performances start Wednesday August 10th throughout August 21.

We were fortunate to get tickets for last night's 6:30 p.m. performance. Now I'd like you to know that if you are expecting the movie on stage you are in for a surprise, the play is based on P. L. Travers book titled "Mary Poppins" and it is worth going!

The singing, acting, scenery, lighting, costumes are phenomenal. Disney always knows how to impress and this show was no exception.

Here is the schedule:

Tuesday - Thursday Evenings – 7 p.m.
Thursday Matinee (Aug. 11) - 1 p.m.
Friday / Saturday Evenings 7:30 p.m.
Saturday Matinee - 2 p.m.
Sunday Matinee - 1 p.m.
Sunday Evenings - 6:30 p.m.
