Keep the eye on the ball {at all times}

I just finished my second week on team #Cinchspiration, one of the changes I've noticed the most is how happy I am. Yes like everyone I have my days where I have a hard time with whatever adventures life has for me, but still I am going to bed happy and proud of my day and how I handled every single second of it.

Since high school I have felt confident in myself and even though I did deal with my share of bullies in school I feel that I grew to become a confident adult. This week I'd like to share about how I feel, what I've been up to and how I am enjoying my shakes.

First lets talk about how I feel, before starting this adventure I felt happy but not all day long. I would get a bit anxious when I would get dressed in the morning thinking in my head what I would wear and if I decided to wear say a pair of denim capris I always was nervous and would think:

"I wonder if my denim capris will fit today? If not I must not get upset"

I knew they might not fit and in a way it's almost as if I was ok with it. Standing on a weight scale was also a bit of a challenge, I would think:

"I wonder if I gained another couple of pounds or if I am at the same weight?, if I am at the same weight great... If not, then bummer! must try to lose those extra pounds"

For the last two weeks I have been noticing that  my pants fit and some of them are getting loose in my thighs, hip and waist! This is so new to me, after 12 years that I am always thinking

"Wow! today is a great day! my pants fit and are loose and they look great!"

And it is starting to show... just look at my face, my skin looks great and I'm smiling all the time!

One of the changes I've made is to ask myself how I feel when I chose to eat healthy, being in tune 100% with my body {for as long as I can remember} I am re-learning to listen to what it has to say. How it feels, how it reacts. For example last weekend I chose to have a burger, however instead of having buns I decided to have it with lettuce and reduce not only my carb intake but also my fat and calories. Yes you can eat a burger, but make sure you take into consideration the nutritional value. I ate 10 fries and then continued my day as I have been in the past 2 weeks.

Like I said last week I am inspired and motivated! and this week I am keeping the eye on the ball, what ball? this ball:

What am I doing? I've been more active than I have been in the past 6 years. Most of the activities are always outdoors. We took advantage of the weather this week and walked to the park, which added up to 2 miles. While at the park I would run around the play structures while my kids played and sometimes they would join me and run with me. RUN? Yes! I ran, me!!! not a long distance for a long time but I did run. I felt so happy about that!

...And while we walked we enjoyed the outdoors and nature and all it has to offer, while exercising or taking a walk take the time to appreciate nature and take it all in. Believe me it will not feel like a workout, it will turn into something fun and it will revitalize you.

Remember I am also eating more vegetables and to try new ones and be creative with them I began the #alphabetveggiechallenge. Which is now on it's third week.

Last week I mentioned I was enjoying the Shakes from the Cinch Program, some days I add fresh fruit others I just enjoy them plain. They taste so good to me that I like them with just a cup of light soy milk and 3 - 4 ice cubes and my 2 scoops of vanilla or chocolate or latte. The fruit combinations I've liked the most are:

1/2 a banana + chocolate shake
4 frozen strawberries + strawberry shake
1/2 cup of fresh blueberries + vanilla shake
1/2 cup of papaya + vanilla shake

So as you can see I am making changes, lifestyle changes that will not only benefit me but also my family. Remember I want to wear my trophy pants, I also said I was ready to cinch it and my determination combined with the support of my family, friends and you are keeping me inspired and motivated! My determination is also helping me do things I never thought I would like my very first vlog on my own channel!

Now I'd like to show you how my weight has changed and so have my measurements in the last week:

ARM: 15.75 INCHES {total difference to date 1"}
BUST: 43.5 INCHES {total difference to date 1.5"}
THIGH: 31 INCHES {total difference to date 1"}
HIPS: 52 INCHES {total difference to date 1.5"}
WAIST: 43.5 INCHES {total difference to date 3"}

Current BMI {Body Mass Index} = 42.5

Happy dance, anyone??? :)

So now I ask you, how do you feel today? Have been
feeling happy and excited for a brand new day?
