San Diego Residents FREE Tuesdays

Balboa Park offers FREE admission every rotating Tuesday to San Diego County residents. All you have to do is check what Museum the FREE admission applies to that Tuesday and bring a picture ID with your San Diego County address stated on it. 

Here is the list for each Tuesday:

Reuben H. Fleet Science Center

San Diego Model Railroad Museum

San Diego Natural History Museum {not valid for Titanic exhibit and 3D films}

SECOND TUESDAY

Museum of Photographic Arts

San Diego History Center

Veterans' Museum and Memorial Center

THIRD TUESDAY

Japanese Friendship Garden

Mingei International Museum

San Diego Art Institute

San Diego Museum of Art

San Diego Museum of Man

FOURTH TUESDAY

House of Pacific Relations International Cottages {not all}

San Diego Air & Space Museum {does not include special exhibits}

Places to cool down from this heat wave....

We have had record temperatures this week here in San Diego, so how about ideas on places to visit to stay cool:

Libraries: Local libraries always have events designed for kids of all ages from story time to crafts! visit your local library!

Museums: Balboa Park is the Smithsonian of the West Coast! so why not plan to visit and learn a little history, art, science and more!

Botanical Gardens: One of the most photographed places in Balboa Park is the Botanical Building, with it's lush gardens and fountains. It's a guaranteed refreshing outing!
