We at Stroller Adventures love Mingei International Museum located in Balboa Park San Diego. Their exhibits are unique and their Family Sundays are absolutely fantastic for all ages with a treasure hunt and hands on crafts what's not to like!
We visit the Mingei often, specially because my 6 year old daughter loves the crafts on exhibit specially this one:
My daughter loved how the incorporated lighting effects on this piece.
And the craft revolution exhibit is also creative with wooden doors and furniture:
