Toddler Tuesday week 05/22

We are getting into the habit of taking walks around our neighborhood in the morning and walk observing nature. Sometimes we see bumble bees, butterflies and others we see squirrels and beautiful birds. What we do see every single time is beautiful flowers that are so fragrant. 

Lately our toddler has been intrigued and enjoying the anti-slipping floor mat that is setup on the bridge near our home. It is for when it rains, but he thinks it is for massaging his feet. Today was no exception! He also made a new friend... This lovely cat followed us around and then walked near Adventure Boy and he happily complied to his requests to be petted. It was so cute! 

Toddler Tuesdays week 05/08

This picture says it all! 

Both Adventure Girl and Boy were watching as Adventure Dad left for work. They stood there next to the sliding door that leads to our patio saying "bye daddy!" over and over until they couldn't see him anymore. 

I sat back at our dining table and observed as they waved goodbye. Adventure Boy is only 2 years old but he understands that dad leaves in the morning for work, but before he knows it dad is back home from work. Believe me he somehow knows the time too, when evening rolls around he starts looking out that same sliding door and begins saying: "papi?, papi?".
